Tonight at 8:30 p.m. ET, the Minnesota Wild (31-22-7, 69 points) and Nashville Predators (41-13-7, 89 points) face-off for the third of five meetings this season live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Minnesota has won three of its last four games and starts a brief two-match road trip while Nashville has won two consecutive games and plays the middle contest of a three-game home stand.

The Predators have topped the Wild in both prior meetings this season, notching a 6-5 overtime win on Dec. 20 and following it up with a 3-1 triumph on Jan. 10.

Nashville is currently in the lead for the Presidents' Trophy with an NHL-best 89 points while Minnesota is just one point out of the final wild-card spot in the Western Conference, which is currently held by the Calgary Flames (70 points).

The Wild enter play off of a 2-1 loss to the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday and will look to bounce back.

Zach Parise paces Minnesota this season with 46 points off of 21 goals and 25 assists. Jason Pominville has a team-best 29 helpers for the Wild and has added 12 goals to rank second on the team with 41 points.

The Predators are coming in off of a 5-2 victory over the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday and will look for their third straight win.

Rookie Filip Forsberg has paced Nashville this season with 21 goals and 52 points. Mike Ribiero leads the Predators with 39 assists and is second on the club with 51 points.

Nashville turns to Pekka Rinne between the pipes and he leads the NHL with 35 wins while ranking second in the league in goals-against average (2.01) and save percentage (.930).

Minnesota counters with Devan Dubnyk in the crease and he is 22-8-3 while ranking fourth in the league with a 2.19 GAA and adding a .924 save percentage.
