Report: Aaron Hernandez Being Tailed By Police, Could Soon Be Arrested

New England Patriots star tight end Aaron Hernandez is now being tailed by helicopters whenever he leaves his North Attleborough, Mass. home amid reports police may soon seek to arrest him as part of their ongoing probe into the execution-style killing of one of his associates.

Local station Fox News 25 is also reporting police now believe Hernandez was directly tied to the crime and, at the very least, served as the driver of the murder vehicle. The body of 27-year-old semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd was found sprawled near the area of Hernandez’s rented vehicle earlier this week.

Boston.com is also reporting police believe at one point as many as four men were riding in a vehicle driven by Hernandez, but by nightfall only three of them returned with him to his mansion. Earlier that same night, Fox reports all four of the men were seen at a bar together and at some point all left together. The station also reports that at some point Lloyd sent a text message to another friend confirming as much.

Police have spent much of the week searching Hernandez’s home, all along stressing that they still consider him a potential suspect. In an unrelated development, Hernandez is also being sued as the triggerman in connection with a Miami shooting that left one man unable to see out of his right eye.

Authorities have identified Alexander S. Bradley as the victim in that case and are now re-intensifying their investigation.
