Many professional athletes start thinking about what they will do after their playing days once they start seeing the end of their careers approaching. It seems that a New England Patriots superstar has some of his own ideas about what he will do when he hangs up his cleats.

According to NESN, Tom Brady believes that he has the potential to be the next football player to become a huge movie star - following in the footsteps of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (although admittedly, Brady has had a far more successful football career than Johnson).

Brady has said that he has no plans to retire in the near future and that he could even see himself playing until he is in his early or mid forties. Despite many thinking that he was washed up early in the season, Brady had a fantastic season while leading New England to their fourth Super Bowl title.

"At 37, Tom knows he only has a few seasons left before retirement," a source said. "He's thinking ahead and believes he could become a huge movie star. He's used to being a superstar. After winning the Super Bowl again, he's thinking about new challenges outside of football."

Brady has some acting experience, having appeared on Saturday Night Live and in a few commercials. He also has roles in Ted 2 and Entourage, which will be coming out later this year and also feature Mark Wahlberg, one of Brady's good friends.

"Tom's in the movie. He plays himself, but he does an amazing job," Wahlberg said about Ted 2. "Funny, funny moment."
