Tonight at 8 p.m. ET, the Boston Bruins (28-20-9, 65 points) and St. Louis Blues (37-16-4, 78 points) hit the ice for the second and final meeting against each other this season live from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis.

Boston has lost five straight games and plays the fourth contest of a five-match road trip while St. Louis has won three of its last four games and plays the second match of a four-game road trip.

The Blues enter play in second place in the Central Division while the Bruins hold the second and final wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference, just one point ahead of the Florida Panthers.

The first time these two teams met this season, Boston toppled St. Louis 2-0 on Nov. 18.

The Bruins are coming off of a 4-3 shootout victory over the Edmonton OIlers on Wednesday.

Patrice Bergeron leads Boston with 38 points off of 16 goals and 22 assists while Carl Soderberg is second on the Bruins with 33 points off of 10 tallies and 23 helpers.

The Blues are entering play off of a 4-1 victory over the Dallas Stars on Tuesday.

Vladimir Tarasenko has paced St. Louis this season with 55 points off of 29 goals and 26 assists and ranks fifth in the NHL with a plus-26 rating. Alex Steen is second on the Blues with 48 points off of 19 markers and 29 helpers.

In net, St. Louis turns to Brian Elliott in the crease and he is 18-8-2 with a 2.20 goals-against average and a .921 save percentage.

Boston will counter with Tuukka Rask in between the pipes and he is 23-15-19 with a 2.36 GAA and a .920 save percentage.

The Bruins and Blues meet for the final time tonight when the puck drops live from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis.
