Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao's seemingly endless negotiations for a May 2 super fight may finally have ended. Several people have been reacting and buzzing to the rumor that the deal is finished, and all that' left if for Mayweather to make an announcement.
Sports Illustrated's Chris Mannix was the most definitive of the bunch, tweeting out the following.
Source involved with Pacquiao-Mayweather talks on a possible announcement: "Ask Floyd." By all accounts, negotiations are done.

He also sent out these tweets.
Whenever the announcement comes, it will come from Floyd, via social media. Pacquiao's side just waiting for it to come. — Chris Mannix (@ChrisMannixSI) February 19, 2015
Also: Optimism at an all-time high that Pacquiao-Mayweather is near finish line. From what I hear virtually all lingering issues resolved.

Rumor has it that the pot will be split 60-40 in Mayweather's favor, with Mirror.co speculating that means Mayweather is guaranteed $150 million, while Pacquiao will take home more than $100 million.
An announcement of the fight is expected to have a domino effect that will impact a slew of big name boxers. First, Canelo Alvarez will have to change the date of his fight vs. James Kirkland in San Antonio. It had been scheduled for May 2, but Golden Boy president Oscar De La Hoya has admitted the fight would be moved for Mayweather and Pacquiao.
An announcement would also free up WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto, and welterweight Amir Khan to seek other fights.
