Arian Foster had a great season on the field in 2014. He dealt with some injury issues, but he was mostly healthy for the entire season, and he put himself back into the conversation for the best running back in the league when he did the bulk of the work for an otherwise mediocre offense.

Away from the field, Foster has had a productive start to the offseason. According to TMZ, Foster and Brittany Norwood - the mother of Foster's child - have reportedly settled the custody battle that they had been having over their son.

Norwood was impregnated by Foster in 2013, and according to the court documents she filed during the custody battle, he pressured her to get an abortion. She eventually gave birth to a baby boy last summer, and Foster claimed that she was only saying the abortion bit in an attempt to publicly shake him down for extra child support money.

The custody battle continued to deteriorate, eventually leading the judge to place a gag order on both Foster and Norwood. Attorneys for each side refused comment because of the gag order.

The couple eventually decided that they did not want to take the case to court, and they were able to work out their issues before the custody case went to trial. The court date was scheduled for next week, but it has been cancelled since the two have managed to work out their issues outside of the courtroom.
