TNA star Samoa Joe announced on Twitter that he has parted ways with the company in what is believed to be a real-life situation and not a work.

Joe took to Twitter and wrote that he has decided to leave TNA, but that he wished them the best of luck moving forward and he thanked the fans.

TNA's John Gaburick said that Joe will always be a part of the TNA family, but the two sides decided to mutually part ways after Joe's contract expired.

The news of Joe's departure reached some of the members of the main TNA roster and has led to a lot of reactions on Twitter.

"To @SamoaJoe - 1 of the very best I've ever had the privilege to wrestle," Kurt Angle wrote. "Many Blessings to you and your future. I will remember the feuds."

Added former tag team partner Magnus: "Not gonna lie: pretty devastated that my big brother won't be there next time I go to work. He'll be more than fine. @SamoaJoe is all pro."

Some TNA announcers also addressed Joe's departure on Twitter, offering him kind words and encouragement going forward.

When you acquire an art, like calling a wrestling match, there are guys you look forward to calling," Josh Mathews wrote. "@SamoaJoe is one of those guys. #Thanks."

Added Mike Tenay: "Best to @SamoaJoe in whatever path you take. Always loved working and talking with you. 10 great years with @IMPACTWRESTLING!"

Joe, 35, has spent the last decade with TNA after signing on with them in 2005 and has plenty of accolades in his career.

Joe is a one-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion, five-time TNA X-Division Champion, one-time TNA Television Champion and two-time Tag Team Champion.
