It's a tale as old as time. American college student travels to Spain to partake in the running of the bulls. American college student is promptly gored beyond belief by said bulls. YOLO.
20-year-old Benjamin Miller traveled to Pamplona all the way from Georgia. The Running of the Bulls is as annual tradition in the Spanish city, and can draw up to 45,000 people a year.
Miller was unable to outrun the ornery beast, however, and wound up with a 16-inch wound from the bull's horns. He even reportedly sustained sphincter damage in man-vs.-wild altercation.
"It's not the worst injury I've seen, but it's the biggest goring wound I've ever had to operate on," said his responding physician, Dr. Enrique Crespo, via Mic.com.
Miller is in intensive care following the attack. Check out some photos of his unfortunate episode below.
This is why you’re actually an idiot if you ever decide to run with the bulls in Spain https://t.co/mCzDhKnJaN pic.twitter.com/MrFTBRwk51
