It's every NXT star's dream to get to the main WWE roster, but it may not be all it's cracked up to be.

Reports have recently popped up again about a growing frustration on the main WWE roster about the way the NXT talents are handled compared to the Superstars and Divas that are actually in the WWE.
The feeling is that NXT stars are given the time to put on great matches while talents on the main roster are restricted to short bouts on television -- especially in the Divas division -- despite the flagship Monday Night RAW show being three hours long.
According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, there is a lot of growing frustration on the main WWE roster.
"So story is accurate but it's inherent. It was the same thing in the OVW days, well not exactly the same, but similar," Meltzer wrote on his message boards, according to Wrestlingheadlines.com. "I get DMs from people on the main roster always after those specials. It's a common frustration. The top NXT performers are frustrated they aren't on the main roster making money. Then they will get more frustrated when they realize their dream. WWE guys are frustrated they aren't having the matches guys in NXT are when they know if they can perform before 400 fans in longer matches they can tear the house down."
On the heels of NXT Takeover: Rival airing last Wednesday night on the WWE Network after a lot of hype, these complaints have reportedly popped up again as they have after all five of the special NXT events.
It is believed that the hype and time given to the matches on the NXT special should be replicated by the main roster, but the WWE seems to rush matches on all of its programs.
The frustration is likely to continue as the WWE runs a new NXT special every two or three months and is repeatedly trying to get the brand over and net more subscriptions for the network, so the company is likely to continue pulling out all of the stops in NXT.
