The 2015 Cricket World Cup is finally upon us. Day one of the tournament features two fantastic match-ups. New Zealand squares off against Sri Lanka in the early slate, and then the Baggy Greens of Australia play host to England at Melbourne Cricket Ground.

These two teams are well acquainted with one another in recent weeks -- perhaps more acquainted than England would like. They did battle in last month's Carlton Tri Series, and Australia won each of these squads' three meetings by a handy amount.

The Aussies aren't only one of the more talented lineups in the entire Cup, but they also have the most to play for. They're soldiering on in the memory of the late Philip Hughes, a South Australian batsman who died in November after taking a bowler to his skull.

Can England mount a respectable challenge in this opening day match? Tune in to find out.
