It's finally here. The opening match of the 2015 Cricket World Cup.

Four years and hundreds and hundreds of matches have led 14 teams to this moment right here. And you can watch co-host nation New Zealand begin the tournament with an opening night match against Sri Lanka.

These two squads are quite familiar with one another. Just last month they competed in a seven day series, which the Kiwis won with matches to spare. The Lions were rather listless in that series, and a seven-wicket loss to Zimbabwe this week only further compounded their concerns.

Though they've never won a World Cup before, New Zealand truly believes this is their year. They have one of the two or three best players on the globe in batsman Kane Williamson. His streak of centuries has been a feat of beauty in 2015. Expect them to be buoyed by a raucous home turf advantage tonight.
