The Texas Rangers will host the Toronto Blue Jays Thursday night in an 8:05 p.m. ET matchup at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. The game will air live on Fox Southwest and stream on mlb.com with a paid subscription.

Texas starter Yu Darvish (7-2) is looking to win his first game in nearly a month. He is 0-1 in four starts since a 5-0 streak from April 19-May 16 that saw him post a 3.07 ERA. However, the win drought is more due to a lack of run support as he has posted a 2.28 ERA during that span and struck out 32 batters.

"It hasn't really affected me that much," said Darvish, whose previous career worst drought came during a span between July 27-Aug. 6. "I think I've done my job. Wins and losses you can't really control."

During the span, the Rangers offense has totaled 10 runs while winning one of three.

"A couple of them, he had to battle. A couple of them, he was crisp," said manager Ron Washington about Darvish, who had an average of 9.05 run support average before the drought.

"More than anything, it was us not scoring runs. ... We score some runs for him, he could have a couple of more wins. He's thrown well enough to continue to win ballgames."

Toronto will send out Esmil Rogers (1-2) a day earlier than he was originally scheduled. Rogers will make his third start of the season and holds a 1.23 ERA in his first two starts.

Before moving into the rotation, Rogers made 23 appearances out of the bullpen and has a total ERA of 3.60.
