Ireland was riding high when they arrived in Australia.

Fresh off winning this year's Dubai Triangular series, the Irish were being talked about as a potential darkhorse ready to come in and disrupt the major contenders in the World Cup.

However, the squad got a big time reality check on Tuesday, when they were smacked around in their first warm up match by Scotland to the tune of a 179 run loss. Now they'll look to rebound against Bangladesh.

Bangladesh is looking for a win of their own. The Tigers are coming off a three wicket loss to rival Pakistan. They have a lot to prove before they're ready to be discussed as a prime contender to take this tournament.
