Julian Edelman has been at the head of the class as far as how the New England Patriots are celebrating their Super Bowl victory over the Seattle Seahawks, and why would he not be? He is a young, single NFL player, and everyone expects those guys to live it up when they have some free time outside of the season.

Of course, the biggest headlines Edelman made were after he hooked up with a girl, only for her to plaster that information all over the internet. What is it about the young wide receiver that the ladies love so much?

He plays in the NFL. This is a no-brainer, as almost every pro athlete has legions of dedicated female fans. Edelman also plays in a sports-crazy city, but he is still leading the conversation as Boston's most desirable bachelor.

He loves to party and have a good time. Nobody wants to hang out with a stick in the mud, and when Edelman allows people to see the relaxed side of him (or possibly the raging side, if he is at a fraternity party), it only makes them like him more, as he seems like a regular person. Hell, he's even got a pretty gnarly beard as well!

He is up for anything. That may be a trite Bud Light catchphrase, but since winning the Super Bowl, Edelman has gone to Disney World, presented an award at the Grammys, and appeared on Live! With Kelly and Michael. The guy has fun wherever he goes.

He cleans up nicely. While Edelman was partially known for his rather large beard during the season, he showed at the Grammys that he can pull off the clean-cut look with ease.

He is a likable guy. Everyone who meets the guy, be they college girls or television personalities, always has great things to say about Edelman after.

Boston's most desirable bachelor, indeed.
