Tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET, the New York Rangers (30-16-5, 65 points) and Toronto Maple Leafs (23-27-4, 50 points) face-off for the third and final time this season live from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto.
New York has lost two straight games entering tonight's tilt and opens up a four-match road trip while Toronto snapped an 11-game losing streak last time out.
The Rangers currently hold the top wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference while the Maple Leafs are 13 points behind the Boston Bruins for the eighth and final playoff spot.
Toronto has had the better of New York through the first two meetings this season, notching a 6-3 win on Oct. 12 and 5-4 victory on Nov. 8.

The Rangers are coming in on the heels of a 3-2 overtime loss to the Dallas Stars on Sunday night and will look to bounce back.
Rick Nash has been a force for New York this season, leading the team with 49 points and being tied for the NHL lead with 33 goals.
"The puck is going in for me," Nash said per NHL.com. "I've got good chemistry with my linemates and they have been helping me out a lot."
Derick Brassard is second on the Rangers with 39 points off of 13 goals and 26 assists while Martin St. Louis has struggled as of late, but still ranks third with 37 points off of 14 tallies and 23 helpers.
The Maple Leafs are entering play off of a much-needed 5-1 win over the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday and will keep close tabs on Nash.
"He's such a big man and can protect the puck so well," Toronto interim coach Peter Horachek told NHL.com. "He's got such a long wing span and he can score from behind the net and in front of the net. He has the ability to skate and shoot. He is a dangerous guy to handle because of his size, his strength and his skill."
Phil Kessel has paced the Maple Leafs offensively with 47 points off of 21 goals and 26 assists. James van Riemsdyk is second on the team with 43 points off of 21 markers and 22 helpers while Tyler Bozak has found the back of the net 15 times and added 19 assists for 34 points.
Toronto's probable starter between the pipes is James Riemer and he is 16-16-4 with a 2.76 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage.
New York is set to counter with Cam Talbot in the crease as Henrik Lundqvist (neck) remains sidelined. Talbot has looked good in relief of Lundqvist thus far and is 5-5-2 overall this season with a 2.28 GAA and a .918 save percentage.
The Rangers and Maple Leafs clash for the final time this season when the puck drops tonight live from Madison Square Garden in New York City.
