Amir Khan wants a huge fight for his next bout, but doesn't appear to have learned the Golden Rule about treating others as one wants to be treated. While Khan has been big-timed on a number of occasions by Floyd Mayweather Jr. he is treating fellow British fighter Kell Brook the same way.

"There is no point in me fighting him just yet," Khan said of a Brook fight. "Kell Brook is not on the same level as Amir Khan at the moment. He'll get there one day and obviously he's begging for the fight against me. But like I said, I'm on a different level and I want to fight the elite level of boxing.

"My name is being mentioned with the likes of Manny Pacquiao and Mayweather and Miguel Cotto. When Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao get asked who Kell Brook is, they say 'we don't know who Kell Brook is.' So I think that says it all."

If Mayweather and Pacquiao's talks fall apart, Khan is viewed as an option for both of them, although he's already had talks with Pacquiao and that fight seems more likely. In fact, Top Rank CEO Bob Arum, who promotes Pacquiao, said Khan is their backup plan.

"Prince Harry has a group looking to put on a Manny Pacquiao fight in London," Arum said. "Khan would certainly make sense, and it's an interesting fight. But remember -- all that is a backup plan. We are still trying to nail down the Mayweather fight. We need Mayweather to say yes."

It is worth mentioning that although Khan may be more well-known to the casual fan, Brook is the holder of the IBF welterweight title. Khan has a secondary belt, the WBC silver belt.
