The Cincinnati Reds (40-26) and Chicago Cubs (25-38) wrap up their series with a Thursday afternoon game at Wrigley Field. The first pitch is set for 2:20 p.m. and will stream live on mlb.com with a paid subscription.

The Cubs look to bounce back from a three-game losing streak, with each loss coming in the home series with Cincinnati. The Reds look to continue their three-game streak that began Monday at Wrigley Field and hope recent history will repeat itself.

Cincinnati is 19-3 in their last 22 games with the Cubs, which includes 12 straight road wins, the a franchise best and the longest streak of any opponent at Wrigley.

"We're just having fun. That's the only thing I can say," said third baseman Todd Frazier, who homered for the second straight game and gave the Reds the lead in the seventh inning. "We're relaxed when we play here. We like playing here."

The Reds entered the Chicago series with four losses in five games after posting a 7.63 ERA. However, they managed to total a 1.33 ERA in their current series, leading to their steady streak.

Cincinnati will send out undefeated pitcher Mat Latos (6-0). Latos looks to become the first Reds pitcher to have an unbeaten record with a sub-3.00 ERA after 14 starts.

He will face Jeff Samardzija (3-7) who has pitched well all season despite his poor record. Samardzija has received just three runs from his offense during his last two starts.

The former Notre Dame standout went 0-1 with a 5.11 ERA in those two starts, pitching 12 1/3 innings and dealing out 18 strikeouts.
