Khloe Kardashian Says She Isn't To Blame For Lamar Odom's NBA Struggles

Khloe Kardashian-Odom is shooting back at critics who say her husband’s NBA career has become quite unhinged since he started Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Since joining the E! TV reality show, Lamar Odom has played for three different teams and has yet to regain the form that once made him  a vital member of the L.A. Lakers 2009 title-winning team.

But Kardashian-Odom insists she doesn’t see a connection between the two developments.

“When my husband and I filmed season one, Lamar won Sixth Man of the Year; he won a gold medal and he also won a ring for the Lakers,” she told The Miami Herald. “But the year he got traded, people wanted to say, ‘Oh, it’s because of the show.’ So I was really irritated. This is my husband’s career, and I just didn’t like that someone would use this tool in a negative way.”

Now a member of the L.A. Clippers, Kardashian-Odom insists her husband still loves doing the show and plans are for them to continue filming their spinoff show “Khloe & Lamar.”

“It will probably come back sooner rather than later,” she told The Herald.

And as for all those doubters, all those who predicted the couple’s now four-year union would never last, Kardashian-Odom laughs “I think everyone said it wouldn’t last. But I totally understand why. We knew each other for like 30 days, and then we got married.”
