Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan is the main event for Fast Lane later this month and while it could be a hint of the landscape of WrestleMania 31 changing, it's unlikely that Reigns will lose.

The Bella Twins Discuss Being 'Inspired' By Daniel Bryan and John Cena

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that Reddit user MetsFan4Ever, who has broken WWE news in the past before it came out publicly, said that WWE officials are "100 percent" in on Reigns defeating Bryan and going onto WrestleMania 31 to battle Brock Lesnar.

Per the report, the WWE made the decision to have the No. 1 contender's match to quiet some of the disgruntled fan base down for the next couple of weeks while the company continues to build up Reigns.

3 Possible Scenarios for the WrestleMania 31 Main Event

The WWE Universe totally turned on the Royal Rumble Match last month after Bryan was eliminated shockingly early and Reigns went on to win from the 19th draw to a chorus of boos.

The company then opted to make the No. 1 contender's match at Fast Lane on Feb. 22 at the FedEx Forum in Memphis to appease the fans for the next couple of weeks.

Regardless of the backlash that is likely to come when Reigns defeats Bryan, the WWE plans on having him defeat Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31 on March 29 at Levi's Stadium in California.

While the WWE is running the risk of having the fans turn on WrestleMania again, they feel like the show is bigger than its stars and no matter who is in the main event, people will watch it. This means that Reigns is being thrust into the spotlight on the biggest stage.

As for the match next month, the WWE believes that despite his stature, Bryan is a physical worker and his bout with Reigns could prime the former Shield member for his match against Lesnar, who is very physical in the ring.

Reigns is expected to overcome Bryan, while "The Beard" will likely go on to WrestleMania 31 to battle Dolph Ziggler, though that match is reportedly up in the air.

Ziggler and Bryan teased a bout with each other earlier this month on Twitter and the WWE's website picked up on it, hinting at a clash between the two at the "Show of Shows."

There have only been two other bouts announced for Fast Lane thus far as Rusev will defend the United States Championship against John Cena and Nikki Bella will put her Divas Championship up for grabs against Paige.

Fast Lane takes place in just under two weeks on Feb. 22 at the FedEx Forum in Memphis and here is the updated card:
