Tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET, the Montreal Canadiens (33-15-3, 69 points) and Boston Bruins (28-17-7, 63 points) take the ice for the third of four meetings this season live from the TD Garden in Boston.

Montreal has won all three prior meetings this season and goes for the 2014-15 series sweep and blanked Boston 2-0 in the last meeting between these two teams on Nov. 22.

The Canadiens have dropped two of their last three games, but are coming in off of a win while the Bruins have won three of their last four contests.

Montreal topped Boston in seven games when these teams met in Round 2 of last spring's Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Canadiens play for the second straight night and are coming in off of a 6-2 drubbing of the New Jersey Devils on Saturday.

Max Pacioretty paces Montreal with 23 goals and 43 points and is tied for second in the NHL with a plus-26 ranking. P.K. Subban is second on the Canadiens with 36 points off of 11 tallies and 25 helpers while Tomas Plekanec has found the back of the net 15 times and added 20 assists for 35 points.

The Bruins are also playing on back-to-back nights as they topped the New York Islanders 2-1 on Saturday.

Patrice Bergeron leads Boston with 35 points off of 14 goals and 21 assists this season. Carl Soderberg is second on the Bruins with 33 points off of 10 markers and 23 helpers while Loui Eriksson has lit the lamp 12 times and added 19 assists for 31 points.

In between the pipes, Boston turns to Tuukka Rask and he is 23-12-7 with a 2.30 goals-against average and a ..922 save percentage.

Montreal counters with Carey Price in the crease and he is third in the NHL with 28 wins while ranking first in the league with a .931 save percentage and second with a 2.06 GAA.
