The New York Yankees look to continue their winning ways against the Oakland Athletics in their Tuesday night matchup at O.Co Coliseum in Oakland. The game is set for 10:05 p.m. ET will air live on MLB.com with a paid subscription.

The Yankees earned their sixth win in seven games Sunday with a 2-1 victory over the Mariners. Chris Stewart provided a ninth-inning single to give to give the Bombers the late game advantage.

New York took three of four games over Seattle to open their 10-game West Coast road trip. However, the Yankees will have their hands full with a team that have won eight straight home games and send out a dominant starter.

Bartolo Colon (7-2, 3.14 ERA) will get the nod for the home team. Colon is 4-0 with a 0.90 ERA over the course of his last four starts and pitched a five-hitter against the Chicago White Sox during his only home appearance over that span.

The Yankees have gotten the best of the veteran pitcher, however, as he has an 0-3 record and an 11.05 ERA against New York over the course of their last five meetings. Colon previously pitched for the Yankees in 2011 before joining the A's.

He will be matched up against Yankee ace C.C. Sabathia (6-4). Sabathia is 3-1 with a 1.94 ERA during his last seven matchups and is a perfect 2-0 during his last two appearances at O.Co Coliseum.

Sabathia is also coming off back-to-back winning performances in his previous two starts. He currently holds a 3.74 ERA.
