The murder trial for former New England Patriots star tight end Aaron Hernandez enters Day 4 today, and can be live streamed free below.

Day 3 wasn’t without drama. A juror was dismissed by Judge Susan E. Garsh because it was found out she had told people she’d find it difficult to convict the ex-NFLer of murdering 27-year-old semipro football player Odin Lloyd without the presence of a murder weapon.

There is speculation that the dismissal of this juror is actually a positive for Hernandez’s defense team. Their case leans heavily on the evidence that is not present. There is no murder weapon, no eyewitnesses available to point to Hernandez as the triggerman, and so far questionable motive.

On the other hand, as Sports Illustrated analyst Michael McCann noted, the ex-juror in question had actively sought to be part of this trial, meaning her opinions of the case may have been set in stone before she was even selected.

Lloyd’s girlfriend took the stand once again in Day 3, and revealed that Hernandez, who claimed to be Lloyd’s friend, failed to visit the family at all after his death. She also charged that her sister Shayanna Jenkins, Hernandez’s fiancée, began to act in a “secretive” manner in the days after Lloyd was shot.

Shaneah Jenkins also testified that in the days following Lloyd’s death Shayanna was receiving an unusual amount of unexplained text messages and phone calls, fueling her suspicion that Shayanna was either involved, or knew more than she had let on.
