Katy Perry had one job tonight. And she nailed it.
Fans of Perry couldn't have asked for a better set. The multi-platinum pop star opted for a 'medley' approach to her performance, cramming as many songs, costumes, stages, and guests as she could in the allotted 15 minutes.
Perry's entrance was one for the ages, as she entered the field whilst singing her hit song "Roar" on a giant, mechanic lion. Yes, you read that correctly.
Rock singer/guitarist Lenny Kravitz joined Perry for her breakout 2008 hit "I Kissed A Girl," and R&B star Missy Elliot provided a quick performance of her own considerably respected song catalogue after that.
