Tonight at 10:00 p.m. ET on pay-per-view Anderson "The Spider" Silva will fight for the first time since brutally snapping his leg on a kick in a title fight vs. Chris Weidman at UFC 168. His trek back to title contention will have to go through Nick Diaz, the headlining fight for UFC 183 which can be live streamed online by clicking this link.

Silva is considered by many to be the top mixed martial arts fighter of all time, but he's coming off back-to-back losses to middleweight champion Weidman, and the second loss nearly ended his career.

"The night he got hurt, you wondered if the guy would ever fight again," UFC president Dana White told ESPN.com. "Obviously, he was going to get the best medical attention you can, but I think one of the things he never really got credit for and people still forget today is his age. He's almost 40 years old now."

Even coming off that gruesome injury, with no way to know if the leg will continue to hold up during UFC competition, Silva commands enough respect to even silence the normally mouthy Nick Diaz.

"He does martial arts. He's a black belt. I do martial arts. I'm a black belt. I respect that. He obviously respects that. There are no "b*tches", no "f**k' yous", especially right off because that would be way out of line and I'm not trying to come of like that," Diaz said.

Prediction: Anderson Silva def. Nick Diaz by KO (Round 2)
