The WWE presented a rare live SmackDown from the XL Center tonight in Hartford, Conn. and in the end Daniel Bryan defeated Kane in a Casket Match after hitting him with knees to the face, causing him to fall back into the coffin.

After his win, Bryan stood on the casket with Kane inside and started a "YES!" chant with the crowd.

Triple H opened the show and discussed the controversial reaction the WWE Universe gave to the Royal Rumble and teased a major announcement for next week's Monday Night RAW that will "shake the WWE Universe to its core."

"The Game" also addressed Sting and talked about how he was going to deal with him. Triple H went over the crazy events of the week with a snowstorm canceling RAW and got in a few DeflateGate jokes in with the Super Bowl set to air this Sunday.

Reigns came out and told Triple H there was no controversy since he won the Rumble Match and is set to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31 for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Reigns was then put in action against The Big Show and he won via The Spear. The announcers continued to hype Reigns overcoming his detractors.

Seth Rollins also cut a promo, touting how good he is and how he was close to winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Royal Rumble. He also bragged about breaking Brock Lesnar's rib and then he said he is the future.

Rollins issued an open challenge to anyone and it was answered by Ryback, but Rollins and J&J Security beat him down. Erick Rowan and Dolph Ziggler made the save, but the heels retreated.

John Cena also had a promo segment with Rusev where they hyped up their match at Fast Lane Cena said they should fight right now, but Lana said it wasn't worth Rusev's time.

Bray Wyatt also cut an eerie promo where he said what happens next will make it hard for the WWE Universe to ever smile again.

In actual matches, Tyson Kidd defeated Jey Uso with the fisherman's neckbreaker while Konnor and Viktor of The Ascension defeated Goldust & Stardust after hitting the Fall of Man on Stardust.

In the Divas division, it was announced that Paige will battle Nikki Bella at Fast Lane for the Divas Championship.
