The WWE Universe didn't get its wish of seeing lengthy appearances for Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler in the 2015 Rumble Match, but the two Superstars may get what they now want at WrestleMania 31.

Bryan and Ziggler recently discussed having a match against each other at WrestleMania 31 on March 29 at Levi's Stadium in California now that their dreams of headlining the show have been crushed.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, the recent Twitter chatter between "The Showoff" and "The Beard" wasn't just social media fun as the WWE is strongly considering having the two square off at the "Show of Shows."

5 Possible Matches For WWE Fast Lane On Feb. 22

There were reports that Sheamus was set to return as a heel and set up a program with Bryan leading to a WrestleMania 31 bout between the two. It would have marked the third time the two Superstars clashed at WrestleMania.

Sheamus and Bryan fought to a no-contest in a Lumberjack Match for the United States Championship at WrestleMania XXVII (2011) and then the "Celtic Warrior" topped Bryan at WrestleMania XXVIII (2012) in 18 seconds to capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the opening bout.

The WWE has apparently changed its mind for this year's show as the current plans call for Ziggler and Bryan to go toe-to-toe.

It's worth noting that there have been three separate rumors for Bryan, including clashes with Seth Rollins, Sheamus and now Ziggler, so his plans could still be up in the air.

Still, with the backlash from fans at the Royal Rumble this past Sunday, the WWE could put the two fan favorites in Ziggler and Bryan against each other and that seems to be the current plan.

There is also talk of doing another Battle Royal on the show, similar to last year's Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal that saw Cesaro end up on the winning end.

There's no word on if this will be the second installment of the Andre Battle Royal, but there was talk last year of making it an annual thing.

The only match absolutely set in stone for WrestleMania is the main event that will see Roman Reigns battle Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Two matches that seem to be a lock are Triple H vs. Sting and John Cena vs. Rusev.

"The Game" and "The Vigilante" have been at odds after Sting got involved twice now to spoil The Authority's plans. Triple H challenged Sting to a showdown at Fast Lane on Feb. 22 live from the FedEx Forum in Memphis, which will likely set up their WrestleMania 31 match.

Rusev vs. Cena is booked for Fast Lane as well, but it's likely to extend into a WrestleMania rematch.

Another rumored bout is The Undertaker vs. Bray Wyatt, but that all depends on the health of The Deadman and whether or not he wants to return.

With the road to WrestleMania 31 underway, the WWE is continuing to round out the card for the biggest show of 2015.
