Tonight at 10:30 p.m. ET, the Chicago Blackhawks (30-15-2, 62 points) and Los Angeles Lakers (20-15-12, 52 points) face-off for the second of three meetings this season live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Chicago has won two straight games and plays the second match of a seven-match road trip while Los Angeles has lost four straight contests.

The Blackhawks currently hold the third and final automatic playoff spot in the Central Division while Los Angeles is three points out of the final wild-card playoff spot in the Western Conference.

Chicago topped Los Angeles the first time these two teams played this seaon on Nov. 29.

The Blackhawks are coming off of a 3-2 shootout victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins last Wednesday prior to the All-Star break.

Patrick Kane is tied for fourth in the NHL and leads Chicago with 51 points off of 22 goals and 29 assists. Jonathan Toews is second on the Blackhawks with 41 points off of 14 tallies and 17 helpers while Brandon Saad has found the twine 15 times and has 32 points.

The Kings fell to the San Jose Sharks 4-1 last Wednesday in their final game before the break and will look to avoid their fifth straight loss.

Anze Kopitar has paced Los Angeles with 37 points off of 11 goals and 26 assists. Jeff Carter is second on the Kings with 33 points off of 12 tallies and 21 helpers while Drew Doughty has 24 assists and is third with 28 points.

In between the pipes, Los Angeles turns to Jonathan Quick and he is 16-12-10 with a 2.47 goals-against average and a .912 save percentage.

Chicago is set to counter with Corey Crawford in the crease and he is 18-10-2 with a 2.26 GAA and a .921 save percentage.
