Richard Sherman Roddy White Beef VIDEO: Seahawks CB Says White Not Top 100 Player

Seattle Seahawks All-Pro cornerback Richard Sherman is no stranger to beef and controversy. Last season Sherman successfully battled an Adderall suspension; in the offseason he was involved in a Twitter war with Darrelle Revis, and a nasty on-air spat with ESPN's Skip Bayless.

Now, he's in a battle of words with Falcons wide receiver Roddy White, whom Sherman said does not belong in the Top 100 NFL Players list, compiled by NFL Network. White was ranked 39th on that particular list.

When asked about White's ranking Sherman was direct. "Roddy White. Ah, Top 100? No. In my book, he's just not a Top 100 player." He dissed White further, unfavorably comparing him to teammate Julio Jones. "Julio Jones is high on my list, because they have to account for him."

White responded to Sherman's comments, and was clearly miffed by the mouth corner's clear disrespect. "He has talked himself into a place where he has to play some really good football this year. I have no problem when he says I'm not that good or I can't do this or I can't do that. But I know the rest of the players in this league know what I can do, and that's why I'm higher on this list than he is."

During the playoffs last year, White burned Sherman for a long touchdown, and could be seen giving Sherman an earful. Sherman responded with a sarcastic, slow clap.

White wasn't done tearing down Sherman's game, boldly claiming that he'd relish the chance to face Sherman. "He would actually be the first guy that I would want to face. Frankly, I watch film and I know what I can do. I know what my ability is, I know what his ability is. I sit there and watch him, and I'm like, 'Okay'. So I'm not sitting there losing any sleep getting ready to play Richard Sherman.
