The Green Bay Packers came agonizingly close to reaching the Super Bowl this year, losing the NFC Championship Game to the Seattle Seahawks in overtime (some would say they gave it away). Now, it appears that they may have something fun to help them recover from the devastating defeat this offseason.

Olivia Munn Didn't Know Who Rodgers Was At First

According to the Green Bay Press-Gazette, Ryan Churchill has a movie entitled The Sixty Yard Line that will film in Green Bay this summer, and it may feature some of the Packers' players. Fullback John Kuhn and former offensive tackle Mark Tauscher have already agreed to appear in the movie, but Churchill has his sights set on bigger game.

He wants to get Aaron Rodgers to play a small role in the film. And he wants Rodgers' girlfriend, Olivia Munn, to have a role in the movie also.

"We wrote one little scene for him not to play himself,'' Churchill said of Rodgers. "I'm not giving it away, but it's a really funny scene with him."

"It really is a sports fan movie," Churchill said when describing the film. "It's kind of the age-old tale of the guy and his team, whether it be the Vikings or Bears or Lions or Red Sox, it's a guy and his team that comes between him and his girl."

Churchill knows that having one of the NFL's biggest stars appear in the movie will not be easy. "That's a long shot, because he is a busy man," Churchill said of Rodgers. "I'm sure he has plenty of other Hollywood offers out there on the table ... but it's fingers crossed. If Kuhn can get him, then we're good to go."

Churchill has also stated that he hopes he can convince Justin Timberlake - a huge Packers fan - to appear in the movie because having a big star "is imperative to the success of basically any movie" these days.

Churchill and the other writes have also been targeting Munn to play the female lead based on some of her previous work, including HBO's The Newsroom.

"Then we found out she's dating Aaron Rodgers, and we're like, 'This was meant to be!'

"There's a pretty big list of people who we are targeting, but those two, Oliva Munn as the female lead and Justin Timberlake, are definitely at the top of our wish list. That is kind of the independent film strategy: Start at the tippie-top and then you work your way down from there."
