According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, there are reports coming out of Sunday night that The Rock was not happy at the Royal Rumble.
It hasn't been confirmed what angered The Rock, but it likely has something to do with Reigns, his cousin, being booed heavily by the crowd and the WWE booking itself into a corner with the early Bryan elimination souring the crowd.
Now that he won the Rumble Match, Reigns is set to battle Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31 at Levi's Stadium in California.
Regarding adding Bryan to the bout to make it a Triple Threat Match, the report indicates that as of Sunday night that is not happening despite the heat over Bryan's elimination from the Rumble Match.
According to the report, Vince McMahon feels that adding Bryan to the main event after the Rumble Match for the second year in a row would be a repeat and he sees it as going to the well too many times.
The WWE dealt with a hostile crowd at the 2014 Royal Rumble when the WWE Universe turned on Batista after he won and ended up nixing the singles match between him and Orton.
The WWE added Bryan to the main event at WrestleMania XXX and he of course ended up winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a Triple Threat Match after toppling Triple H in the opening contest.
There were rumors that Bryan's return from a neck injury that caused him to miss most of 2014 would change the WWE's plans this year, but it opted to continue to go with Reigns vs. Lesnar.
WWE officials reportedly expected there to be backlash over Bryan's elimination, but were said to be surprised at the volume of it. Officials were said to have panicked early and changed some things around during the show.
It's uncertain what Bryan's role will be at the "Show of Shows" now, but there were minor rumors of a Bryan vs. Seth Rollins match last month.
Despite the backlash, it seems Reigns vs. Lesnar will headline the biggest show of 2015.
