Allenby was in Honolulu playing at the Sony Open and missed the cut after the second round on Jan. 16.
What happened afterward is subject to debate.

Allenby claims that he was kidnapped, beaten and robbed outside a wine bar later in the evening on Jan. 16.
Another GolfChannel.com report said that Allenby was indeed robbed of some of his credit cards, his cell phone and $800.
According to a GolfChannel.com timeline, Allenby's credit card is used to purchase two bottles of tequila 14 minutes after Allenby was seen exiting the wine bar with three unknown individuals.
Two local homeless men said they saw Allenby passed out about 100 yards from the exit of the wine bar some 20 minutes after he left. They said he appeared uninjured.
They said he was disoriented and accused them of robbing him, saying that he mistook them for being two of the three unidentified individual who left the wine bar with him.
At midnight, two sources say Allenby was at a gentlemen's club and ran up a $3,400 bar tab.
At 1:15 a.m., the two homeless men say they spot Allenby again, a few feet from where they first found him. They said they tried to help him stand up and that's when he fell and hit his head. A homeless woman and another bystander get Allenby into a taxi back to his hotel room - some six miles from the wine bar - at 1:30 a.m.
At 1:55 a.m., he called the Honolulu police and filed a report.
According to golfchannel.com, the police are treating the case as a second-degree robbery but aren't including assault or kidnapping as part of the investigation.
Leading to heightened anticipation of what Allenby might say on Tuesday.
