Upon returning to the WWE storylines on SmackDown, Dolph Ziggler had some fighting words for departed Superstar CM Punk.
10 Funniest Moments In WWE Royal Rumble History
Punk walked out on the WWE last January and received his termination papers in June. He revealed on Colt Cabana's Art of Wrestling podcast that he received the papers in the mail on his wedding day to WWE Diva AJ Lee.
Ziggler made a reference to Punk on a promo on SmackDown, ripping into him for the podcast appearance.

"I'd rather sit here in this ring and face any punishment...than sit at home complaining on some podcast!" Ziggler said in his promo, alluding to Punk.
Ziggler was written off storylines after he, Erick Rowan and Ryback were fired by The Authority earlier this month on Monday Night RAW.
The WWE then had John Cena defeat Seth Rollins, Kane and The Big Show with help from a distraction from Sting on last week's RAW to won back the jobs for the trio.
Ziggler then defeated Bad News Barrett in a non-title match on SmackDown to qualify for the 30-man Royal Rumble Match on Sunday while Ryback topped Rusev via countout in a non-title match to earn a berth to the bout.
Rowan wasn't as fortunate, as he fell to Luke Harper, keeping him out of the match.
The WWE Universe Twitter account even tweeted out the quote after Ziggler made it:

Punk said on the podcast that he will never have a working relationship with the WWE again and he then signed with UFC in December.
Punk is currently training for his first fight and that should occur sometime within the next 6-7 months in late 2015.
