DeMarco Murray Affair Rumors: 'Spray Tan' Gets Engaged Following Cheating Scandal [Instagram PHOTO]

DeMarco Murray had quite an up and down season for the Dallas Cowboys this year. On the field, he was brilliant, leading the NFL in rushing yards and establishing a new team record. He also led the league in rushing touchdowns. Off the field, Murray's year was not quite as good, however.

Comparing Russell Wilson's Rumored Girlfriend To His Ex

Murray found himself at the center of a cheating scandal involving Brennan Clay and Gina D'Agostini. Clay and Murray were teammates and close friends during their time together at the University of Oklahoma. Both were running backs, and Clay even said that he viewed Murray as a mentor.

Shortly after Thanksgiving, Clay broke news on Twitter that his wife was cheating on him, and that DeMarco Murray was the other man involved. He filed for divorce, and he released some text messages that his wife had allegedly exchanged with Murray, who was saved in her phone as "Spray Tan" to try and cover her tracks.

The details never became entirely clear, but Clay eventually relented and appeared to get back together with D'Agostini.

Around the same time, Heidi Mueller, Murray's longtime girlfriend and the mother of his child, removed Murray from her social media pages and posted a photo about faithfulness on her Instagram. The moves seemed to lend credence to the rumors of cheating between Murray and Clay's wife.

Now, however, it appears that everything has smoothed over. Although Murray still has to resolve his contract situation (and possibly find a new team if Dallas cannot afford to re-sign him), he still got his offseason started off on the right foot.

Mueller also appears to have restored Murray to her profile page, so maybe everything has worked out.
