There's no denying Jim Harbaugh is an, uh, interesting guy.

There's the time he once smeared a player's blood on his own face like war paint. Or the fact that his new Twitter account reads like its half motivational speaker, half lunatic.

Now his 25-year-old son, Jay (Michigan's new tight ends coach) has given us yet another colorful anecdote of his dad's eccentricity.

"This one time I was a kid, we didn't have any milk for cereal," he says, via the school's official website. "He put Gatorade in the cereal instead of milk. It was the weirdest thing I ever saw. I didn't try it. For good reason. That's not where Gatorade goes."

However, despite the weirdness of that action, Jay added that it also gets to the root of what makes his dad such a successful football coach.

"That kind of says a little bit about him, he just gets the job done," he said. "He's not picky."

Well, regardless of their success on the field (and if Harbaugh's past history is any indication, there should be a lot of it), one thing we can say about the Michigan Wolverines under their new coach is that they'll never be boring.
