Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Devon Still has finally reached a financial agreement with his ex over the child support payments of their daughter Leah.

Is Devon Still A 'Deadbeat Dad'?

Leah's mother, Channing Smythe, had told the New York Daily News in November that due to Still's lack of aid financially, she and Leah were living on food stamps and would be homeless if not for the charity of family friends. That episode is apparently behind them.

Smythe now says Still has begun helping with their money issues, and is still playing a huge parenting role in Leah's life. "I am very happy that we are working together for Leah," she said, via TMZ Sports.

At just four-years-old, Still's daughter Leah is battling a rare form of pediatric cancer. She's already had surgery and undergone chemotherapy, and continues to fight it. The Cincinnati Bengals made headlines over the summer when they kept Still on their practice squad roster in order that he keep his health coverage for Leah.

Still was eventually promoted to the active roster mid-season, where he had 19 tackles on the year.
