"You're fired." That's what real estate mogul and The Celebrity Apprentice star Donald Trump has to say to any thoughts that he would pursue buying the Brooklyn Nets.

Donald Trump Says Sterling Was 'Set Up' By Girlfriend

In a surprising move, Russian oligarch and current Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov recently put the team up for sale, and business experts predict the ultimate price tag could be over $2 billion dollars.

Trump has displayed interest in purchasing sports teams in the past, most notably last year with the NFL's Buffalo Bills. However, when TMZ Sports asked him this week if he would think about adding the Nets to his already impressive collection of assets, Trump cut right to the chase -- simply, no.

In the video Trump also hobnobs with fans and provides an update on the year's upcoming Miss America pageant. It also appears that he was just wrapping up dinner with Los Angeles Clippers head coach and Trump's friend, Doc Rivers.

Unlike Brooklyn, that team won't be on the open market anytime soon -- former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer bought the team last year after control of it was wrested away from Donald Sterling following the latter's incendiary racial remarks.
