After the South African cricketers had lost two straight T20I's to the West Indies, the only question on Tuesday was whether the Proteas could avoid getting swept.

Well, they answered the bell, knocking around the Windies to earn a 69 run win. The puts a bow on the two teams' T20I series, and now a five-match One Day International (ODI) series is slated to begin on Friday, in Durban.

The Cricket World Cup is just a month away. These five ODIs will be essential for both teams' preparation. The Proteas are probably the favorite going in, thanks to their complete body of dominant work these past six months. However, that T20I series proved that the West Indies squad can hang with them in single day matches. We shall see on Friday.
