New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has earned a reputation as a fiery competitor, and apparently he has a hard time flipping that switch off when a big game is coming up. Apparently, Brady can even become a bit of a chore around the house, which bothers his wife, Gisele.

According to Fox Sports, Brady gets anxious when the Patriots have a game approaching and he feels that his team has not finished preparing for their opponent. When Brady was asked about his mood before games, he replied, "It depends -- yeah, that's a good question.

"My wife asks the same thing, 'What's your problem?' I get pretty edgy. I just think there's a high level of pressure every week. The pressure is on from the moment that -- I would say it's like watching the games on Sunday, you watch the first game, like theCowboys-Packers game, and it's kind of fun. You get to watch the game. Then all of a sudden, you watch the Denver (Broncos) game, and (the Indianapolis Colts) play, and as soon as that games ends, it's like 'Boom,' the clock starts."

"It's kind of the ebbs and flows of the week," Brady continued. "Sometimes I'm in a good mood, sometimes I'm in a (expletive) mood - bad mood, sorry. Sometimes it's just the ebbs and flows -- (laughs). Yeah. So, uh, yeah. Just a good mood."

The Patriots will host the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC championship game on Sunday in Foxboro. The two teams met earlier in the season in Indianapolis. New England won the first meeting 42-20.
