The WWE announced this past week on Monday Night RAW that the "Macho Man" Randy Savage will finally be inducted posthumously into the Hall of Fame.

5 Best WWE Championship Matches in Royal Rumble History

Savage had an illustrious career that was most notable for his stints in the WWE from the 1980s until 1994 and then his WCW run that started in '94.

The soon-to-be WWE Hall of Famer passed away tragically when he had a heart attack while driving with his wife in 2011, but his legacy inside the squared circle will never be forgotten.

5 Greatest Moments in 'Macho Man' Randy Savage's Career

Savage had several memorable feuds throughout the years, but here is a look at the Top 3 feuds involving the Macho Man in WWE history.

3) "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair: Savage and Flair had a memorable series of matches within the WWE and WCW, but the lead into WrestleMania VIII in 1992 was the climax of their rivalry.

Flair was originally slated to face Hulk Hogan at the event, but the WWE switched up his plans and threw him into the bout against Savage.

Flair was the reigning WWE Champion and taunted Savage by saying he had an affair with his real-life wife and on-screen manager Elizabeth.

Hell bent on revenge, Savage fought Flair in a meticulously planned out bout at WrestleMania VIII that saw each man match each other maneuver-for-maneuver until Savage finally got the better of Flair.

Savage gained revenge for himself and his wife and won his second ever WWE Championship that night in Indianapolis.

2) The Ultimate Warrior: After Savage, wrestling under the "Macho King" moniker as a heel, cost The Warrior his WWE Championship match with Sgt. Slaughter at the 1991 Royal Rumble, it sparked a heated rivalry between the two men.

The Warrior didn't just want to hurt Savage following those events in January of 1991, he wanted to end his career. The two then agreed to wrestle in a career-ending match at WrestleMania VII that March.

The Warrior and Savage stole the show that night in Los Angeles, competing in a bout that lasted over 20 minutes and was filled with drama and entertainment throughout. The Warrior was able to win the match and ended Savage's run as the Macho King.

After the contest, Savage had an emotional reunion with Elizabeth and became a babyface again, eventually returning to the ring as the Macho Man in November of that year.

Savage and The Warrior would clash again at SummerSlam in August 1992 and now the two will both find their rightful place in the Hall of Fame after Warrior was inducted last year prior to losing his life.

1) Hulk Hogan: Savage and Hogan have a storied history both in WWE storylines and real life. Much like their real life relationship, their on-screen friendship had its ups and downs.

Hogan helped guide Savage to his first WWE Championship in 1988 when he defeated "The Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase at WrestleMania IV in the finals of a 16-man tournament.

The two then became a tandem known as "The Mega Powers," thwarting off Andre the Giant and "The Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase for the rest of 1988 and at the inaugural SummerSlam event in August and again at November's Survivor Series.

The two then turned their attention to the Twin Towers, Akeem and The Big Boss Man. Eventually, the WWE turned Savage heel as his jealousy over Hogan's friendship with Elizabeth caused a rift in the tandem.

Savage and Hogan clashed in what was built as the "Mega Powers Exploding" at WrestleMania V in 1989 and it ended with Hogan regaining the WWE Championship.

The two would feud for the remainder of the year and Savage remained a heel until 1991 when he was retired by The Warrior.

The pair would meet up again in WCW during the mid-1990s, but they had a very tumultuous relationship outside of the squared circle in the years following.

Regardless, Hogan said the two mended fences before Savage passed away in 2011 and the duo made for great storylines during their time feuding in the WWE.

It all comes full circle as Hogan has been tabbed to induct Savage into the WWE Hall of Fame on March 28 at the SAP Center in San Jose.
