The Denver Broncos organization is in flux after their playoff loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. They have already said goodbye to head coach John Fox, defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio appears to be headed to the Raiders, offensive coordinator Adam Gase could head to the 49ers, and some guy named Peyton Manning may be gone as well.

Manning Headed To SF?

The buzz surrounding Peyton Manning's future is the biggest offseason story since... well, since Manning left the Indianapolis Colts. Manning admitted that he was not sure that he would continue playing football, and rumors are swirling that he may elect to follow Adam Gase to the San Francisco 49ers if Gase is tabbed as their next head coach.

Manning's decision also comes at a critical time, as many are wondering if he has lost his ability to play at an elite level after a disappointing final month of the regular season and perhaps his worst playoff performance ever. It was revealed after the game that Manning had been playing with a torn quadricep, but that revelation has done litle to quell fears that Manning might be washed up.

Tom Brady Only Known Because Of Tuck Rule?

Of the many people that have their hands tied by Manning's indecisiveness about his future, backup quarterback Brock Osweiler is perhaps the most anxious of them all about the five-time MVP's decision. Osweiler would be in line to take over the starting job in a talent-laden offense should Manning retire or otherwise depart from Denver.

According to Pro Football Talk, Osweiler is just as clueless as the rest of us about Manning's thought process on the matter.

"I have no idea," Osweiler said of Manning's future. "None. I fully expect when Peyton is ready to address it he will. I've been fortunate to be in my situation and will continue to work as hard as I can."

Osweiler was a second round pick that has been sitting behind Manning for three years. Although that has undoubtedly provided some valuable learning experiences, Osweiler has barely played in the actual games.

"Ever since I've been here I've always taken the approach if you're prepared you don't have to get prepared," he said. "I've always prepared every single week, training camp, every single spring, like I was going to be the guy playing. I just went about my business and if my number got called I was ready."

This offseason, he may finally get his chance.
