Quinton "Rampage" Jackson made headlines at the end of 2014 when he unexpectedly announced that he would be leaving his Bellator MMA contract to pursue a return to UFC.

Jackson Returning to UFC?

Bellator president Scott Coker has been a vocal opponent towards Jackson's departure plans, making it clear on numerous occasions that he will take legal action to keep Jackson in Bellator. However, Rampage himself seems unperturbed by these threats, and even hinted at a countersuit of his own if need be.

"I don't think Bellator going to put up a big fuss because if they try to sue me I could countersue them for probably $10-20 million," Jackson said, via MMA Mania. So, if they was smart, they would just let me walk away and be happy ... I wish I could show you guys the contract. I just think Scott Coker, he felt bad because he got caught lying."

The legal issues surrounding his return notwithstanding, Jackson also told reporters he's just very eager to get back into the Octagon in 2015. Jackson was a leading star in UFC from 2007 to 2013, and was the organization's light heavyweight champion from May 2007 to July 2008.

“I’m thinking I want to get my KOs back up,” Jackson said, via MMA Junkie. “I’m addicted to knocking people out, so I want to knock some heads off.”
