The third match of Dubai's 2015 Triangular Series takes place Monday, as Scotland and Ireland clash in a battle of European rivals.

Scotland is looking to rebound from their 8-wicket loss to Afghanistan last week, and avoid falling into an 0-2 hole in this series.

The Scottish team will look toward Preston Mommsen and Kyle Coetzer to provide leadership in this triangular series, as the two were named captain and vice-captain, respectively, for the team's upcoming World Cup roster.

Both teams have set their World Cup rosters, but who actually cracks their starting lineups has yet to be determined.

Once considered an underdog nation, Ireland's captain Will Porterfield believes the team has what it takes to compete with the powerhouse nations. "We've produced some wonderful performances over the years in World Cups and there's no reason why we can't claim further successes [this year]," he said.
