Djokovic got off to a rousing start on Tuesday, easily dispatching upstart Belgian upstart David Goffin, who advanced all the way to the tourney’s fourth round last year, 7-6 (5), 7-5 in the opening round.

 Things don’t figure to come any easier for Pella, as Djokovic has openly set his sights on adding the tournament title to his growing list of conquest. "This is the tournament that is the No. 1 priority of my year, of my season," Djokovic told ESPN.  "This is where I want to win, and I'm going to go for it. I think my game is there, and I'm very, very motivated."

Besides that, Djokovic is also out to avenge a heartbreaking loss to Rafael Nadal in last year’s finals.

This year, though, Goffin was not so lucky. He faced a man on a mission in Djokovic, who is trying to avenge a loss in the French Open finals last year against Rafael Nadal. Given their current rankings, if the two were to meet this year, it would be a semifinal round matchup.

In other scheduled matches, the third-seeded Nadal also takes the court against Martin Klizan, while on the women’s side second seeded Maria Sharapova is in action as is third seed Victoria Azarenka.
