After competing against each other in four multi-day test matches in December and early January, the South Africa and West Indies national teams get to relax with three single day, T20I matches. The first kicks off in Cape Town on Friday.
The host nation handled their visitors rather easily throughout their preliminary meetings, although the Windies did manage to eek out a draw in the second match. Although the West Indies squad isn't strong enough to hang with the South Africans over the course of multiple days, they do have a roster talented enough to give the Proteas a run for their money in these single day T20I's.
The Proteas are also resting some stars, like AB de Villiers and Hashim Amla, which should add some further competitiveness to what was already going to be a fun, fun match-up.
