Do not try to sound cool by using awkward lingo when you talk to JJ Watt. The Texans superstar does not appreciate some of the vernacular that gets thrown around on Twitter these days, particularly when it is not being used by the appropriate age group.

Companies and advertising are increasingly using slang in an effort to "sound like the cool kids" in the hopes that their message will reach a younger generation that is increasingly less interested in what advertising has to say. JJ Watt has a message for those companies: stop.

Watt jumped all over the fact that the Houston Texans team Twitter account used the word "totes" while they responded to a tweet from a fan of the team that clearly loves Watt.

Andrew Luck's Mom and Girlfriend Hate The Beard

For those that do not know, "bae" is used as a term of endearment when a person is talking about their boyfriend or girlfriend, and "totes" is a shortened version of totally. Watt is probably correct in his assertion that neither should be in use by the Twitter account of an NFL team.

On the field, Watt had another stellar season. He is the front-runner for Defensive Player of the Year, and he is even in the MVP conversation. Aaron Rodgers is the favorite to win the award thanks to the NFL's bias toward skill position players in general and quarterbacks in particular, but many feel that Watt is actually the most deserving recipient.

If Watt does win MVP, he will be the first defensive player to win the award since Lawrence Taylor did for the New York Giants back in 1986.
