Wrestling legend "Macho Man" Randy Savage may finally find his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame this March while it appears the company may hold off on a Steve "Sting" Borden induction for this year.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Savage is a top candidate for the Class of 2015 and some people have even been told that he is definitely going in.

Savage was a huge WWE star in the late 1980s and early 1990s, but his relationship with Vince McMahon soured upon his defection to WCW in 1994.

There have been many rumors as to what led to the falling out between the two, but Savage had been kept out of the WWE after he departed for its chief rival, even after WCW was bought out by McMahon in 2001.

Savage, who passed away in 2011 after suffering a sudden heart attack while driving with his wife, was a two-time WWE Heavyweight Champion one-time WWE Intercontinental Champion and four-time WCW Heavyweight Champion during his illustrious career.

McMahon wrote a piece on Savage's life and legacy in Time Magazine upon his passing and long-time wrestling fans have been awaiting the day he gets the Hall of Fame nod.

Regarding Sting, it had been rumored that part of his role with the WWE heading into WrestleMania 31 would be a Hall of Fame induction the night before for all that he has accomplished in his career outside of a WWE ring.

According to the report, Sting's name hasn't been mentioned lately, but there is a notion that an induction for the former WCW and TNA icon might make more sense next year at WrestleMania 32 since he is now a Texas resident.

Sting appeared in a WWE ring for the first time at the Survivor Series in November and had a confrontation with Triple H before helping Team Cena defeat Team Authority.

It is expected that the altercation will lead to a Sting vs. Triple H bout at WrestleMania 31 on March 29 at Levi's Stadium in California which would mark Sting's first match in the WWE -- and possibly the last contest of his career.

There have been many rumored names for this year's Hall of Fame, including Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Rikishi, Kevin Nash (as Diesel or with the nWo), Mickie James and local legend Ray "The Crippler" Stevens.

While the rumors for the WWE Hall of Fame continue to heat up, it appears Savage will finally enter in the Class of 2015.
