Longtime SportsCenter Alum Succumbs To Cancer

A California-based graffiti artist by the name of Jonas Never spray-painted a prominent homage to Scott with help from ESPN. The painted-on mural features a close-up portrait of Scott brandishing a microphone, with his signature phrase "Boo Ya!" emblazoned alongside him.

ESPN even tweeted out a photo of the graffiti on their official Twitter account:

The work was such a hit, even current SportsCenter employees like Kevin Negandhi took to social media to thank Never for his contributions.

Stuart Scott passed away on Sunday at the age of 49, after multiple battles with appendiceal cancer. He leaves behind an ex-wife, girlfriend, two daughters, and an overflowing army of coworkers and sports fans who mourn his passing.
