Triple H recently discussed several topics including Sting getting involved at the Survivor Series, The Authority returning to power, the firing of three WWE Superstars and more.

Triple H sat down with Michael Cole for his latest in-character interview and spoke about The Authority coming back into power after losing their control at the Survivor Series in November. "The Game" talked down John Cena and bashed Sting.

"Cena was not a part of that success," Triple H said about Team Cena's win. "Dolph Ziggler was that success, Ryback was that success. They were the guys in there at the end. Sure, Sting for whatever reason -- who knows -- got involved. He had his one moment; his 15 seconds of glory in life, but those guys were the heroes if you wanna look at it that way. And they won and their heads were off the chopping block and everything was magical and happy. And then the guy that talked them into joining this mutiny in the first place. The guy that begged them to go to bat with him turned on them and put them back on the chopping block."

Cole asked Triple H if he was part of the plot to get The Authority back when Seth Rollins forced Cena to bring them into power by threatening to break co-guest host Edge's neck on RAW.

"How would I be a part of that plot? We were thrown out, taken out of power," Triple H said. "I haven't had anything to do with RAW or SmackDown or anything else for the last couple of months. We weren't here, we weren't a part of anything. How would I have even known that Edge and Christian were gonna be a part of the show? How would I even know that they were gonna be here? To even imply that is ludicrous. Seth Rollins did what was best for business."

Triple H was also asked about Ziggler, Ryback and Erick Rowan being put into unfair situations before being fired last Monday.

"I've heard people crying and griping about that as well," Triple H said. "Okay, yep we forgot to mention the fact that it was 2 out of 3 falls, well Wade Barrett didn't know it was 2 out of 3 falls....Yeah, Dolph Ziggler won the first fall, Wade Barrett came back and won two straight. He proved who the man was and that was the new Intercontinental Champion."

He continued: "You're gonna talk about Erick Rowan, you're gonna talk about Ryback, but here's the point, it's irrelevant...they don't work here anymore. So we can talk about yesterday, we can talk about the past. Those guys are no longer here. They got fired on Monday night, no longer here."

Lastly, Triple H touched on Rollins being put into a Triple Threat Match with Brock Lesnar and Cena for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Royal Rumble.

"I'm not giving Seth Rollins anything, I'm giving him what I give everyone else in the WWE Universe: Opportunity," he said. "It's a new era of The Authority. The WWE is like life you're gonna get out of it what you put into it and in this situation it's the same thing. You're gonna get out of it what you put into it and at the end of the day everyone -- everyone -- will get what they deserve."
