The friendship between Jon "Bones" Jones and Anderson "Spider" Silva is well documented in MMA circles.

The two UFC championships share a mutual respect and admiration for each other's careers, and have acted as sparring partners on numerous occasions. Silva has even gone on record as saying that he's learned a few new tricks from Jones' arsenal of moves.

Jones told Sportv this week that he would be willing to host Silva to his Black House gym in California, to help the Brazilian prepare for his upcoming bout versus Nick Diaz.

"If there's anything I can do for you leading up to this fight, let me know, because I will definitely come out to California and train with you," said Jones, via MMA Fighting.

Unfortunately, those plans will have to be put on hold indefinitely, as Jon Jones announced Tuesday that he will be entering a rehabilitation facility following a positive test for cocaine.

Silva will have to instead just rely on Jones' words of encouragement rather than any training, as his good friend struggles to put his life back together.

"I cannot wait to see you knock out Diaz," Jones had said to Silva. "I believe in you so much. I know you got it. Get it done, baby, it's your turn."

Silva's 'turn' takes place at UFC 183 in Las Vegas on Jan. 31.
