WrestleMania 31 Rumors: Daniel Bryan vs Seth Rollins Happening? Backstage Talk On Possible Bout [VIDEO]

The latest match that is rumored for WrestleMania 31 is a bout that would pit the returning Daniel Bryan against "Mr. Money in the Bank" Seth Rollins at the "Show of Shows."

3 Ways To Integrate 'Fired' Ziggler, Ryback and Rowan Back Into Storylines

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Bryan vs. Rollins has been discussed to at least take place during WrestleMania season and while there is no word that a match will definitely happen at WrestleMania 31, it remains a strong possibility.

With many top names already penciled in for slots at the event, Rollins -- who has been the No. 1 heel for the majority of the year -- curiously has been left out of rumors while Bryan just returned to the fold after being kept out of plans due to his injury.

3 Reasons Daniel Bryan Should Face Brock Lesnar At WrestleMania 31

Regarding Bryan being booked for next week's episodes of RAW and SmackDown in Louisiana, word is that he will be there to make appearances, but will not be wrestling. Bryan will not compete in the ring until the 30-man Royal Rumble Match.

Bryan announced last week on Monday Night RAW that he was not retiring and will return for the first time during the 30-man match at the Royal Rumble on Jan. 25 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, which is expected to be won by Roman Reigns though plans could change.

Bryan had been sidelined since mid-May after he underwent neck surgery and subsequently lost feeling in his right arm following the procedure. There was some doubt over whether or not his career will continue, but he announced he will officially be back later this month.

Bryan won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship last year at WrestleMania XXX, but had to forfeit the gold due to his injury. Hall of Famer Mick Foley campaigned for a match between Bryan and Brock Lesnar at this year's event, but it's unknown if his return will change the WWE's plans.

As for Rollins, he was thrown into the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match with Lesnar and John Cena to make it a Triple Threat at the Royal Rumble, but it's doubtful he will walk out of Philadelphia with the gold.

The rumored bouts that are planned for the "Show of Shows" thus far include Reigns vs. Lesnar for the WWE Championship, Cena vs. Rusev, Triple H vs. Sting and Bray Wyatt vs. The Undertaker, if he opts to return.

It remains to be seen if the WWE will pull the trigger on a Rollins vs. Bryan match, but for now there are at least talks that "The Beard" may meet "Mr. Money in the Bank" at the biggest show of the year in March.
